DIABETIC FOOT SURGERY COURSE 2011 |
In 2010 we welcomed over 100 colleagues from all over the world (US, Mexico, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, France, Russia, Poland, Spain, Italy etc.) who attended the courses on diabetic foot surgery as well as the multidisciplinary approach for the diabetic patient affected by complication to the lower limbs. For this reason, we decided to continue with additional courses at our “Diabetic Foot Center”. The courses will take place from Monday to Friday for a maximum of 4 attendees per week, and provide for activity in the ward unit, in the outpatients’ clinic and in an operating room (surgery of the diabetic foot, use of dermal substitute, surgical and endovascular revascularization, and orthopedic techniques for the manufacturing of shoes and insole. At the end of the course the attendees will receive a participation certificate.
